Mount Aragat, 28. juni 2011
Lusine, Lisbeth and I went to Mount Aragat (not to be distinguished with Mount Ararat just on the other side of the Turkish border) with the intention to hike to its south peak, elevation 3893 meter.

The Yazidis in their summecamp. The Yazidis in Armenia are the largest ethnic and religious minority in the country. The Yazidis are mostly ethnic Kurds who live in the west of Armenia and are adherents of the smallest of the three branches of Yazdânism.
From the top we had views in all directions
On the whole hike we could see Mount Ararat in the distance
